Another from Vintage Fair 2012

As I said on the previous post, there's a few days remaining from Vintage Fair if you haven't been there, you still got a last chance to stop by.

I didn't want to be Bowie.....if there's something SL has given me, its both the guts to try and mix and match that which i had considered unmatchable at all- and not really mind what everyone else thinks of it!- and also, SL has given me someone that knows about music more than what I'll ever know. So, thanks to her, I learnt that Bowie, his style, and this makeup belonged to something called glam....that had not a lot to do with what the word meant to me. (If you live in south america..you probably know what I mean) So being Bowie required a lot more of info than what I had at hand.

But the makeup was bold, and red, and...there was this big photogenic hair from Tameless...so, forgetting that rule of 'it you do something big and bold with your outfit..keep the rest simple' I just put on both things together...and ..I don't know what anyone else could think, but, it makes me want to go attack a guitar..or a keytar as if I actually knew how to play it

....well..not really..but it does make me want to go dosomething pretty bold...will tell you all..when I figure out what that is

I'm not a pink person, but for some reason I felt like trying something soft and feminine, and this is what I came up with...  pastels...pastels that would have embarrassed my sl av two years ago, but that now feel pretty good to wear (yes..SL has made me rediscover there's more than black clothes in life ^^)  The skin is from Modish, and it comes in different tones and with and without cleavage, and I don't know why, I really believe its knees are adorable.

Vintage Fair II

Here's another Vintage Fair post. The event will be running from August 4th to August 29th. there's a flickr contest going on...and all the info you will need is here: http://www.chic-management.com/

I got this hair at Hair Fair some days ago, and I haven't really taken it off since. Laviere's  Creative dye pack is really fun, I'm in love with all the color options.

The dress is from Aris Aris, it can be worn with or without the jacket (you might need to try a bigger size for the jacket than the dress for them to fit fine) but it can be worn perfectly fine without the jacket also. Shoes and skin last. shoes are from Chachadee, and just lovely, they are inspired in the 50's but I can picture them going perfect with any modern soft and feminine outfits also. and last the skin, it's been out for some weeks at Mother Goose, and it probably will be for a long while (dollarbies are around the store for a couple of months or more usually).

And last, the poses, the Lamp post form Motionless actually comes with poseballs for two to pose at the same time, but they were still fun poses to use alone.
